Sebastian Hazod, double bass – Austria

Sebastian began his musical career playing both the piano and guitar. At the age of 15, he decided on playing the double bass and is currently studying at the Anton Bruckner Privatuniversität in Linz with Professor Anton Schachenhofer, solo bassist for the Bruckner Orchester Linz.

As a passionate orchestral musician, Sebastian has made performances with the Bruckner Orchester Linz and been a member of both L’Aura Woodwind Octet as well as the Waidhofner Chamber Orchestra. In addition, he has played with numerous other ensembles, among them the Oberösterreich Youth Orchestra, the Cyprus Youth Orchestra, the Orchestra of the University of Linz as well as the European Philharmonic Orchestra where he was principal bassist.
